Located in the heart of Teesside, our state-of-the-art workshop provides tailored engineering solutions for all valve-related requirements within the chemical, power, and food & beverage sectors.

Virasel Valve Solutions can provide valve maintenance services with same-day turnaround or for planned shutdowns, supported by our skilled workforce and cutting-edge testing facilities suitable for all valve sizes, manufacturers, and models.

Every overhaul follows the same process

1. 01Pre-test
2. 02Valve dismantled and inspected
3. 03All internal parts cleaned, degreased and measured
4. 04Seats and discs lapped and measured
5. 05Second inspection after cleaning
6. 06Assembled using OEM spares
7. 07Tested, reset and calibrated to manufacturing standards
8. 08Test certification produced
9. 09Paint finished, if required
10. 10Valve wired and tagged

The engineer's report includes photographic evidence of all internal and external parts. You'll be notified of any spare or machining requirements for the valve, with all findings documented by photographic evidence.

Workshop capability

• Valve Testing Equipment — digital testing equipment handling pressures up to 600 barg and valve sizes from DN10 (½″) to DN400 (16″).
• Shot Blasting & Cleaning — dedicated cleaning bays ensuring every component is thoroughly cleaned and free of contaminants before inspection and rebuild.
• Lapping & Machining — in-house lapping machines for precise metal-to-metal seals, alongside lathes and mills for custom component repairs.
• Paint & Finishing Booth — valve finishes tailored to any client or environmental requirement.
